We are excited to announce additional prizes to the Overall Tane and Overall Vahine Champion awards, and the Hura Tau (Senior) Drumming award for Heiva I Honolulu 2013.
As deadline dates draw near we encourage all soloists and drumming groups to register to participate to be eligible to win additional *prizes* added to the 2013 Awards! Tahiti Nui International, producer of Heiva I Honolulu, Heiva I Japan, and Heiva I Las Vegas, will add to the Honolulu the award packages for Overall Tane/Vahine and Hura Tau Drumming, paid travel to Heiva I Japan 2013! The travel will include air and lodging, as well as the opportunity to participate in tahitian dance and drumming workshops.

Heiva I Honolulu General Admission Tickets will go on sale March 1, 2013 at the Neil Blaisdell Ticket Box Office, or two hours prior to the event start time at the Waikiki Shell Box Office. General Admission: Adult (11yrs+) $15 and Child (4-11yrs) $10, ticket prices noted are per day and a ticket service fee may apply. The Heiva I Honolulu event will be open seating, with a specific area blocked for those guests with specific service needs and special guests. This event at the Waikiki Shell prohibits the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Free parking is limited.
Please be aware the Box Office hours are limited. We encourage all guests to purchase your tickets in advance.

What an awesome event!
It is amazing to see the growth of tahitian dance in Japan! Mauruuru roa to all the participants of Heiva i Japan 2012 held at the Mielparque Hall and produced by Island Communications. Tahiti Nui International congratulates all participants!
